Drinking water has become virtually unavailable.

Dzhankoy and the Dzhankoy District in occupied Crimea have been without electricity for seven days now. For many rural residents, delivered drinking water has become virtually inaccessible due to sky-high prices, stated the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov.

“A similar situation is being observed in other steppe regions of occupied Crimea. We sincerely sympathize with all residents of Crimea who are awaiting the liberation of the peninsula from the Russian barbarians and are forced to endure new hardships caused by the Russian occupation,” Chubarov wrote.

Local residents have complained about power outages in Sevastopol, surrounding villages, and in the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. The so-called governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev stated that the power supply is temporarily limited.

He called this a “necessary measure” required to alleviate the overload on power grids outside the region, “to prevent a failure of the entire power system.” At the same time, Razvozhayev denied reports of “a major explosion at the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant,” calling them lies.

On the night of July 9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck 45 military targets belonging to the aggressor country, Russia, in Crimea and the southern part of the occupied territory of Ukraine. In particular, the Saki Thermal Power Plant was attacked.
