The logistics “Yuzhnye Vrata” logistics complex in the Moscow region, which was attacked by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones on Monday, belongs to a foundation run by Putin’s friend, cellist Sergei Roldugin, as noted by "Agency". The facility, with a total area of 600,000 square meters, is located in the Domodedovo urban district, approximately 28 kilometers south of the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD), and was struck by drones on the morning of July 20, after which a fire broke out in the warehouses. According to Andrei Vorobyov , governor of the Moscow Region , seven people were injured as a result of the attack in Domodedovo.
“Yuzhnye Vrata” consists of a group of large warehouses, including facilities used by Wildberries, “Leman Pro,” Alibaba Group, and others. According to Forbes, this hub is Instone Development’s largest asset. In 2022, the complex was acquired by Ventall Development from the Czech company PPF Real Estate, which had decided to sell its assets due to the war in Ukraine; subsequently, in the fall of 2023, Ventall Development transferred management of the warehouse business to Instone. In early 2026, the “Talent and Success” fund—of which Roldugin is the founder and Putin is the head of the board of trustees—became the majority owner of Instone. According to the “Spark” system, the fund owns 84% of the company. Another 11% is owned by “Tsintex,” which also belongs to “Talent and Success.”
As a result of the attack at Domodedovo, six injured people, including three Chinese citizens, were hospitalized at the city hospital, Vorobyov reported. A 74-year-old man who sustained multiple shrapnel wounds is being prepared for transfer to a Moscow hospital. A 53-year-old victim has an open hip fracture, and a 26-year-old man has a leg injury. Four others sustained shrapnel wounds. One of them refused hospitalization, the governor said. In a video posted from the scene of the incident, one of the firefighters says that household chemicals leaked from the burning building: “It’s a corrosive substance, looks like ‘Azelit.’”
Also, according to authorities, an 11-year-old girl in the Odintsovo District was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction but did not require hospitalization. Two more women were injured in Podolsk, where an oil depot and a large Wildberries warehouse were hit by a drone attack; two other Wildberries facilities—in Elektrostal and the Tambov Region—caught fire as a result of Saturday’s drone strikes.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced strikes on logistics facilities and an oil depot in the Moscow Region, calling them “the result of our long-range sanctions.” He noted that the distance from the Ukrainian border to the targeted facilities is more than 400 km.
