  • 20.07.2026, 22:04

The authorities issued a warning to the public.

On July 21, Poland will test its emergency alert systems nationwide.

This was reported by Interia Wydarzenia.

Sirens will sound throughout the country. The siren test will be part of the “Alarm-26” drill and will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

“Stay calm,” urges the Government Security Center in its warning.

Residents across Poland have received this message.

The purpose of the exercise is:

to test the practical operation of the warning systems,
and to alert the public.
These tests are conducted solely for training purposes and do not pose a real threat, the Center noted.

Two acoustic alarm signals will be sounded in accordance with current regulations:

the alarm signal—a modulated siren sound lasting three minutes,

all-clear signal—a continuous, monotonous siren sound (also lasting 3 minutes).
