The dictator ordered that anyone who couldn't work during the harvest be sent to the army.
During a conference call , Alexander Lukashenko ordered that those who perform poorly and fail to maintain work discipline in agriculture—especially during the harvest season—be sent to the army, BelTA reports.
“Well, with a labor shortage, are we going to put handcuffs on them? Ask Khrenin (Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin. — Ed.), and pass on my instructions to him: anyone who doesn’t know how to work—off to the army and to the southern border. Into the forest. Our guys there—the special operations forces—are deployed along the Ukrainian border on my orders. This doesn’t mean we’re [planning to] attack anyone. We’re not attacking anyone; we’re ensuring our own security. It’s not easy—mosquitoes, flies, gnats, and so on. Send them there—to the army. As regular soldiers. A week of training (grenade launcher, machine gun), and then off—to serve under the special operations forces,”
This order applies to officials and those who “don’t want to work”.:
“Send everyone there who fails to carry out orders. That’s my order. Any bureaucrat (in the government, regional executive committee, or district executive committee)—off to the farm to operate a tractor or combine. Don’t know how to tighten a nut? You’ll be an assistant; you’ll carry ‘ammunition.’ Any failure to comply—off to the army. Let them serve there. They’ll be stationed in the forest. They need manpower there, too. Let them serve there during the harvest season. Both officials and those who don’t want to work,” said the usurper.
