Zelenskyy Offered Fedorov A New Position

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he had offered former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov “a prestigious position in the government.” He announced this in his evening address.

“Today I met with Mikhail Fedorov. I offered Mikhail a prestigious position in the government that would allow him to consolidate the technological sector of our country and ensure its development. Yevhen Khmara’s expertise in the field of security, his combat merits, “Alpha’s” technological achievements, and diplomatic successes speak for themselves, and this is essential within the framework of our government structure,” Zelenskyy said.

According to him, “We all share a single desire—victory over the enemy, creating conditions on the front lines and exerting pressure on Russia that would force it to agree to peace.”

“Tomorrow we will formalize all decisions. Ukraine must emerge stronger from this situation, and things will be more difficult for Russia,” he added.

The President of Ukraine asserts that closing the airspace as much as possible to Russian strikes and providing a realistic picture of the mobilization process are top priorities.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported that Zelenskyy had offered former Defense Minister Fedorov another position with broad powers. However, Fedorov wants to return only to the Ministry of Defense.
