Bloomberg: Putin Has Drastically Changed His Rhetoric On Ukraine

Insiders in the Kremlin have described a striking shift in sentiment.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not consider the possibility of returning part of the occupied territories to Ukraine as part of a peace agreement to end the war.

This was reported by Bloomberg.

Journalists’ sources inside the Kremlin have described a sharp shift in Putin’s mood.

According to them, the dictator realized that his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska had ended in failure.

Putin was unable to secure a single desired outcome regarding Ukraine from the White House leader.

That is precisely why the Kremlin leader decided to radically change his approach and abandon the territorial “concessions” he had previously been willing to discuss with Washington and Kyiv.

“Vladimir Putin is determined to establish full military control over Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast and will now retain the border regions of Sumy and Kharkiv Oblasts as buffer zones,” anonymous sources in the Kremlin stated.

It was also noted that the dictator has adopted a tougher stance amid intensified Ukrainian strikes on targets deep within Russian territory, particularly in Moscow. As is well known, it was precisely the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ precision strikes that triggered a large-scale fuel crisis in the aggressor country.

Another significant factor is that Trump ultimately supported a new bill on “hellish sanctions” against Russia, proposed by the late Senator Lindsey Graham. It is important to understand that this bill calls for imposing tariffs of up to 100% on the five largest buyers of Russian oil and gas.

Despite this, Putin is in no hurry to return to the negotiating table.

“Russia is ready to return to negotiations only after Putin has secured control of the entire Donetsk region,” claim Kremlin insiders.
