Two key logistics hubs were targeted by drones.
On the night of July 24, the Russian cities of St. Petersburg and Tver came under a massive drone attack. Large-scale fires broke out at two warehouses. Some sections of the dual-purpose warehouses were completely destroyed.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Russian Telegram channels and OSINT public groups.
Tver
At approximately 2:30 a.m., footage from Tver and the surrounding region began appearing on public channels. It is known that the region was under a massive drone attack.
After the attack, eyewitnesses reported a fire in Tver. OSINT groups speculate that a Wildberries warehouse may have been hit, but this information requires further clarification.
Local authorities have not yet commented on the situation.
Saint Petersburg
Starting at 11:15 p.m., there was a threat of drone attacks in the Leningrad Region. At approximately 3:30 a.m., judging by video posts, the drones reached St. Petersburg.
A short time later, footage emerged showing drones attacking the Wildberries warehouse. A massive fire broke out following the attack.
At the same time, Russian Telegram channels specify that a WB facility in the village of Novosaratovka in the Vsevolozhsky District of the Leningrad Region was attacked. It is located outside St. Petersburg’s administrative boundaries, but is often referred to as the “Wildberries St. Petersburg warehouse.”
Meanwhile, the “Caution: News” public group reports that the “Utkina Zavod” industrial zone—where several warehouses, including Wildberries’ facility, are located—was attacked.
However, it is worth noting that OSINT channels showed a column of smoke in two locations in some of the footage.
OSINT analysts from the Russian Telegram channel Astra confirmed the attacks and fires at two Wildberries warehouses.
It later became known that the Wildberries logistics complex at 153 Moskovskoye Shosse, Shushary, St. Petersburg, was on fire.
Information was also confirmed that a Wildberries warehouse in the village of Novosaratovka, Vsevolozhsky District, Leningrad Region, had been attacked and caught fire.
It is worth noting that the Wildberries “Shushary” logistics complex in St. Petersburg is one of Wildberries’ largest logistics hubs in northwestern Russia. In January 2024, the warehouse was almost completely destroyed by a massive fire, after which it was rebuilt and returned to operation in 2025.
Following its reconstruction, its area is approximately 106,000 m².
Local authorities have not yet commented on the situation, but the region’s governor reported that, as of 4:30 a.m., air defense forces had allegedly shot down 33 drones.
