"The Russian Military Machine Is Crumbling To Dust"

  • 24.07.2026, 10:03

Dictator Vladimir Putin was wrong.

David McCormick , a Republican U.S. senator from Pennsylvania , stated that in the war against Ukraine, Russia’s “war machine” is being reduced to dust, and that dictator Putin was wrong.

He wrote about this on his social media account X.

McCormick believes that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin was mistaken in thinking that Ukraine would fall after the start of a full-scale invasion by Russian troops, and that Western countries would give up and stop supporting Kyiv.

The senator pointed out that the advance of Russia’s occupying army has stalled, and the Russian “war machine” is crumbling.

As one example, he cited the Russian Federation’s massive military losses. According to his data, since 2022, the Russian army has already lost about 1.4 million personnel in the war against Ukraine.

“The United States must use its advantage. That is how we will achieve President Donald Trump’s goal: peace through strength,” the senator added.

David McCormick became a U.S. senator in January 2025. He represents the Republican Party. Late last year, he co-sponsored a bipartisan bill introduced in the U.S. Senate that would impose sanctions for purchasing or facilitating the import of oil and petroleum products from Russia.
