The Russian city of Belgorod was attacked by drones on the night of July 25. As a result, logistics warehouses and energy infrastructure facilities were on fire in the city.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing OSINT channels and Russian social media groups.

“Belgorod is under a massive UAV attack; logistics warehouses and energy infrastructure facilities are on fire in the city,” according to a report from one of the OSINT channels.

Specifically, smoke is rising in the area of the power substation on the grounds of the “Luch” Thermal Power Plant in Belgorod.

Russian social media groups also reported an attack on the “Yuzhnaya” power substation, located in Belgorod itself. A fire broke out there, and heavy smoke was observed.

The acting governor of the Belgorod Region, Alexander Shuvaev, reported—without providing details—that the city had come under a nighttime drone attack and urged residents to “refrain from traveling and going out onto the streets.”

“There is damage and fires on the streets, which fire crews are extinguishing. Please stay away from windows and take precautions. Refrain from traveling and going outside,” Shuvaev wrote on social media a few hours after the attack.
