A major fire broke out.
On the night of or in the morning of July 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched another strike on the oil refinery in Tyumen—one of the largest facilities in Western Siberia’s oil refining industry, Dialog.UA has learned.
According to reports from social media users and monitoring groups, a major fire broke out at the refinery following a drone attack. Footage of the fire is circulating widely online, confirming the strike on the facility. Tyumen is located more than 2,000 kilometers from the border with Ukraine, making this one of the longest-range operations since the start of the war against Russia.
This is not the first attack on the Tyumen Oil Refinery. On June 6, a major fire was already reported at the facility.
