Zelenskyy: North Korea Will Send Putin Another 30,000 Soldiers

Russia wants to receive another 30,000 military personnel from North Korea and has already begun preparations to receive them.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy while commenting on Russia’s cooperation with North Korea.
“Russia wants to receive another 30,000 military personnel from North Korea: preparations to receive them have been underway in the Voronezh region since June. North Korea is also preparing to transfer new ballistic missile launchers to Russia,” the president said.
He added that, in turn, Russia is helping North Korea learn how to wage war.
“Russia is helping North Korea learn how to wage war, improving its weaponry—and giving it experience in the actual use of weapons. All of this poses a threat to everyone in Asia who is within range of North Korean missiles,” the Ukrainian leader noted.
Zelenskyy Reveals Russia’s Plans for the Fall
He noted that the Russians still plan to wage war and that making peace is not part of their immediate plans:
“We have intelligence reports on Russian plans for the fall. What’s missing from those reports is peace. Not yet, anyway. Putin is laying the groundwork for expanded mobilization.”
Zelenskyy cited figures on Russian casualties for the first seven months of this year, according to which 221,000 people joined the ranks of the Russian armed forces, while casualties totaled nearly 225,500, of whom 131,000 were killed and nearly 93,000 were wounded.
“A significant number of the injuries are severe because the Russians have absolutely terrible frontline medical care,” Zelensky emphasized.
The president warned that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is preparing to send more Russians to war, even though he is disguising this with other words and signals—but he is preparing nonetheless.
“It is important that we and our partners be able to exert sufficient pressure on Russia so that thoughts of ending this aggression come to dominate—thoughts of peace, not of further Russian mobilization. Our long-range operations and our strikes on infrastructure are contributing to this. More and more Russians are taking notice of Putin’s war, are suffering losses from it, and believe that the war should not be prolonged,” the President of Ukraine concluded.
