Peskov has once again issued an ultimatum to Ukraine.

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the dictator of the Russian Federation had responded to proposal by the President of Kazakhstan to “freeze” the war in Ukraine. According to him, this could happen before the end of the day, but there is a condition.

This was reported by "RBC-Ukraine" citing Russian media.

Peskov said that during today’s meeting between representatives of the two countries, Vladimir Putin briefed Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “in detail” on the course of the war.

When asked how Putin reacted to Tokayev’s proposal to “freeze” the war, the Kremlin spokesperson replied that this is impossible until Russia achieves its objectives.

He added that everything could come to a halt even today if Ukraine makes certain decisions.

“The ‘freeze’ of the conflict in Ukraine proposed by Tokayev is impossible given Kyiv’s position. The main condition for Russia is to achieve its objectives. Everything could come to a halt today, before the end of the day, if the Kyiv regime makes the appropriate decisions,” Peskov said.
