Russia Launched A Ballistic Missile Attack On Kyiv

Five launches were carried out from the Bryansk Region.

On the night of July 26, the Russian military launched a missile strike on Kyiv. It is reported that five missiles were fired from the Bryansk region.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force. According to monitoring channels, the missiles were S-400s.

What is known

Fires broke out in several areas of the city. A particularly severe fire resulting from the attack was recorded in the Svyatoshynskyi district.

According to the Air Force, the missiles were heading toward the capital via the Chernihiv region.

According to the city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, missile debris struck an 18-story building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The fire engulfed the 7th and 8th floors.

In the Solomianskyi district, a non-residential building caught fire, and in the Desnianskyi district, cars are burning in a parking lot. Emergency services are already on their way to the scenes.

Details of the attack from the State Emergency Service

According to the State Emergency Service of Kyiv, the missile attack on the Ukrainian capital caused fires in the Desniansky, Shevchenkivsky, and Solomensky districts.

In the Desnianskyi district, a warehouse burned down, along with 10 cars and a truck in a parking lot. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a four-story, evacuated building was on fire, and in the Solomianskyi district, a fire broke out and caused damage to a non-residential building.
