The war against Ukraine has become a dead end for Russia. At the current stage, it is unable to achieve either victory or even a ceasefire that is more or less acceptable to itself, according to war criminal and “Z-patriot” Igor Strelkov (Girkin).

A corresponding letter was published on Strelkov’s Telegram channel.

He stated that Russia has lost its chance to exit this ill-fated war on favorable terms.

“In the current military-political and military-economic situation, Russia is objectively incapable of either defeating Ukraine on the battlefield by crushing the Ukrainian Armed Forces or wearing it down, since the ‘coalition of the willing’ will not allow such a thing to happen; that is, within the framework of the ‘special military operation’ using conventional forces and means, we CANNOT NOW (I emphasize: now! We used to have such capabilities) achieve an acceptable peaceful settlement, let alone a victory,” Strelkov stated.

In his view, this deadlock has led the Kremlin to begin discussing the use of nuclear weapons. This was immediately followed by a rebuke from Beijing.
