Zelenskyy will meet with the new British prime minister for the first time.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will travel to the United Kingdom on Monday, July 27, where he will meet with the new Prime Minister Andy Burnham. It is expected that during the visit, the United Kingdom will grant Ukraine the rights to manufacture its Stone Cloak electronic warfare system, according to The Independent.

Zelenskyy will be Burnam’s first foreign guest since he took office as prime minister a week ago. The leaders will visit a naval base, where Burnam will announce the transfer of intellectual property rights for the new Stone Cloak electronic warfare system to Ukraine—this will allow Ukraine to independently produce this technology on a large scale.

The tablet-sized device is designed to prevent Russian forces from detecting the drones on which it is mounted, notes The Independent. According to the publication, the UK Ministry of Defense has already transferred thousands of such electronic warfare devices to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to bolster operations involving UAVs.

In addition, the leaders will meet with more than 200 Ukrainian military personnel who have spent the last three weeks in the UK participating in the Sea Breeze exercises, aimed at strengthening combat capabilities and counter-mine measures in the Black Sea.

Earlier, Burnam—immediately after taking office as prime minister—declared his unwavering support for Ukraine and his determination to achieve a lasting and just peace.
