This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the Ukrainian head of state, the issue of defense production received the most attention at today’s meeting at the General Staff Headquarters. Government officials met with Ukrainian arms manufacturers to discuss their needs.

In particular, the discussion focused on the necessary administrative decisions and state funding. This will allow Ukraine to maximize its capabilities to put pressure on Russia and weaken its forces on the front lines.

“This applies, first and foremost, to Ukrainian drones of all types, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), our missile program, electronic warfare systems, and military equipment,” Zelenskyy said.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that the development of these weapons will help deprive Russia of its ability to prolong the war against Ukraine.
