“The Dnipropetrovsk region has been liberated!” the soldier wrote.
The soldier later added that he had not written about the liberation of the Dnipropetrovsk region “after reading the Ipsos channels.” He asks “experts” not to ask inappropriate questions.

At the same time, “Balu” cited the reaction of one of the pro-Russian public groups, which stated that the Russian Armed Forces had “temporarily withdrawn” from the Dnipropetrovsk region. The post by the pro-war channel states that the main blame for the failure lies with the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces and the “Vostok” group of Russian troops.
“Who is to blame for this??? The answer: the incompetent leadership of our General Staff and, specifically, the “Vostok” military group. The reasons: all available reserves were redeployed to liberate the ‘DPR,’” the post reads.
According to the Z-public page, the Russians currently have no “other reserves,” and the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces was unable to “accumulate and transfer reserves” due to a reduction in the number of contract conscripts. At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces’ “Vostok” task force collapsed on this section of the front due to “an inability to switch to a defensive posture because of a lack of reserves,” the page states.
In response, a Ukrainian military officer took a screenshot of the Russian military officer’s post and sarcastically mocked the Russians: “Well, they didn’t make it out, but they got … .” With this phrase, the officer alluded to a well-known statement made by Ukrainian Police General Yevgeny Zhukov during the liberation of the Kyiv region in 2022.
