The Ukrainian Armed Forces Struck A "hideout" For Russian Drones In Crimea

On the night of Monday, August 17, Ukrainian forces struck a storage and launch site for attack UAVs, as well as enemy command-and-control facilities in Crimea.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The storage, preparation, and launch site for attack UAVs was struck in the Gvardeysky area of the temporarily occupied Crimea. A fire was reported on the facility’s grounds following the attack.

In addition, an Orion UAV ground control station was struck in Novofedorivka, Yevpatoria District.

“Ukrainian troops also struck a ground-based relay station for controlling Geran/Gerbera-type strike UAVs in Olenevka, in Russian-occupied Crimea, as well as a communications and power supply node for the UAV relay station on the Tendrovskaya Spit in the Kherson region,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The extent of the damage inflicted on the enemy is being assessed. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also emphasized that operations against key military targets of the Russian occupiers are continuing.
