Netanyahu Claimed Iran Had Attempted To Kill His Son

The Israeli prime minister has two sons.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran had attempted to kill one of his sons. He made this statement in an interview with Israel’s Channel 14 (https://www.c14.co.il/article/1675430).

“This is an unbelievable case. Iran targeted one of my sons. Iran tried to kill him,” the Israeli prime minister claimed. He did not provide details about the case, including which of his two sons was involved.

Benjamin Netanyahu made these remarks while explaining the need for enhanced security for himself and his family provided by the General Security Service (“Shin Bet”) during the election campaign. “Such security is not a luxury. Without it, they would have succeeded (in their assassination attempt—Ed.),” Netanyahu said.

Knesset elections will be held in Israel on October 27.
