The Ukrainian Armed Forces Eliminated The Hero Of A Famous Russian Meme

How a star of the show "Let's Get Married" Became an Occupier.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces killed 50-year-old Vladimir from Russia’s Altai Krai on the front lines; he had become famous for the meme “Bad, bad, doesn’t matter” from the popular local show “Let’s Get Married.” He didn’t “fight” for long—just a few months, according to OBOZ.UA.

Russian propaganda media reported that the “meme star” left for the so-called “special military operation” in March 2026 and, just a month later, found himself on the front lines, where he was killed.

Vladimir gained widespread popularity in his home region back in 2018 after appearing on the Russian show “Let’s Get Married!” During the program, he was rejected by one of the female contestants.

His emotional reaction left such a lasting impression on viewers that, years later, a clip from that episode became one of the most popular memes.

“Bad. Bad-bad, never mind. Things are really bad for me,” the occupier said after the unsuccessful date.

However, his real surge in popularity didn’t come until late 2024. A clip from the TV show began circulating widely on social media, and Vladimir unexpectedly gained tens of thousands of followers on his pages. Because of this, he even started calling himself a blogger and creating blatantly vulgar content.

On his VKontakte page, he even called himself “Vladimir from the show ‘Let’s Get Married’” and offered to record custom video greetings: “I make custom video greetings! Drop me a line.”

Specifically, before he donned the occupier’s uniform, the 50-year-old man worked for the railroad, from where he posted photos online.
