Panic Is Spreading In Moscow Over The Ukrainian Armed Forces' Impending Strikes

Work has begun on constructing a drone-defense structure around the power substation.

Authorities in the Russian capital have begun preparing the energy infrastructure for possible attacks from Ukraine during the fall and winter months. It has been reported that metal structures have begun to be installed around the “Abramovo” power substation in eastern Moscow—apparently intended to protect the facility from drone attacks.

A video of the construction work was published by the Ukrainian Telegram channel Supernova+; its authenticity was confirmed by the publication “Agentstvo”. The substation is located in the building of the United Energy Company on Okruzhny Proezd—approximately 350 meters from the Izmailovsky Kremlin.

The installation of protective structures at this Moscow energy facility comes amid increasingly frequent attacks by Ukrainian long-range UAVs on Russian territory. This may indicate that Russian authorities are seriously preparing for new strikes on the country’s energy infrastructure facilities.
