How Vilnius Welcomed The Freed Political Prisoners

All 25 political prisoners, who were released on September 16 by Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko in response to further easing of U.S. sanctions, were transported to Lithuania and housed in a shelter in Vilnius.

As a reminder, on September 16, another 25 political prisoners were released in Belarus. U.S. Special Envoy John Cole announced their release following talks in Minsk.
