The Media Has Learned When Trump Will Sign The Law On "hellish Sanctions" Against Russia

The bill has been officially sent to the White House.

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to sign, as early as Friday, September 18, the bill on new sanctions against Russia and Iran, which, among other things, grants the President the authority to impose tariffs of up to 100% on countries that purchase Russian energy resources.

RFE/RL journalist Alex Raufoglu wrote about this on Thursday on his social media page X, citing sources in Washington. According to the correspondent, the bill has been officially sent to the White House.

“Several sources have told me that Trump is expected to sign a bill imposing sanctions against Russia and Iran as early as tomorrow. The bill has been officially sent to the White House, two aides to Republican representatives confirmed,” the journalist wrote.

Sources at the Kyiv Independent also confirm that the U.S. president intends to sign the aforementioned bill in the near future.

Previously, The Wall Street Journal reported on the White House chief’s intention to sign this document, citing a source in the U.S. administration.
