Budanov Made A New Statement On Ending The War

Ukraine may achieve peace thanks to U.S. participation in the negotiation process. However, at this time, Russia is not showing any willingness to end the war.

This was stated by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov in an interview with NewsForce (translation - "Channel 24").

According to the general, Washington currently has no equivalent alternative to serve as a mediator in the negotiations.

Budanov explained that the United States’ special role stems from its economic and military power. “And the only thing Russia respects in this world is strength,” the official clarified.

At the same time, the head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office acknowledged that Russia’s actions do not yet indicate its readiness to end the war.

However, according to Budanov, the time for this will come.

“Given the influence of the U.S., we have a chance to achieve peace. And we are doing everything in our power to bring about this peace,” he said.

The head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office emphasized that Ukraine continues to advocate for an immediate ceasefire. According to him, Russia has publicly stated that it is not yet ready to agree to such a step.
