Russia is looking for any excuse to avoid negotiations and continue the war. Ukraine, together with its international partners, is working to force the Kremlin to end its aggression. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the Ukrainian head of state, Moscow is clearly not yet preparing to halt hostilities.

Russian dictator Putin constantly finds excuses to avoid meetings, reject the trilateral format, and continue the killings.

“It’s been the same story for years, and all our partners feel it. He’s looking for excuses to wage war,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.

Zelenskyy noted that during a recent meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, he became convinced that the United States assesses the situation in the same way.

The main task of the international community is to change the Kremlin’s priorities.

According to the Ukrainian leader, every effort must be made to ensure that Russia is willing to spend its resources not on death, but on other needs, and to finally end this war.

Ukraine is actively cooperating on this issue with partners around the world—the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Japan.
