Russia Dropped An Aerial Bomb On An Orphanage In Sumy

On September 27, Russian invaders launched a new attack on Sumy, killing two civilians in the city, including a child.

This was stated by Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhovskyi, according to the website Charter97.org, citing his post on Telegram.

According to the minister, the enemy’s airstrike took place this afternoon.

The Russian Federation’s army dropped three bombs at once and struck the central part of Sumy. One of the strikes hit the grounds of a specialized children’s home.

“A targeted attack against young lives. Unfortunately, two people are known to have died as a result of this attack. Among them is a 16-year-old girl. May she rest in peace, and our condolences go out to her loved ones. At least five people were injured. Everyone is receiving the necessary medical care,” Vygovsky said.

Against the backdrop of recent events, the Minister of Internal Affairs noted that in recent weeks, the Russian military has been carrying out virtually nonstop strikes on civilian infrastructure.

He recalled that the Russians recently attacked schools and a kindergarten in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
