A truck carrying meat from Belarus was detained in the Bryansk Region

The shipment was supposed to reach Uzbekistan, but it was sent back.

In the Bryansk Region, authorities detained a vehicle that was transporting a large shipment of meat from Belarus. The shipment was transiting through Russian territory en route to Uzbekistan but never reached its destination.

Details of the incident were reported by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor).

The vehicle was stopped on the night of September 15–16. It contained approximately 19 metric tons of chilled beef, cut into quarters. According to the documents, the product was manufactured by OOO “Aleksandrov” from the Minsk region, and was intended for delivery to the Uzbek company OOO “MEAT MAGNAT.”

However, during the inspection, officials had concerns about the meat. It turned out that the carcasses lacked veterinary stamps. Without such markings, it is impossible to determine the origin of the products or confirm their veterinary status.

As a result, the shipment was halted. The violation was reported to the Belarusian veterinary authorities, and the entire shipment was returned.
