"People Are Screaming": Private Homes Are On Fire In Kyiv Following A Russian Attack

Fires broke out in Kyiv as a result of a Russian attack involving jet-powered drones and ballistic missiles. One of the strikes hit a residential area in the Svyatoshinsky district.

A major fire broke out at the site of the attack, and people can be heard screaming. Rescue workers, police, and medical personnel arrived at the scene and are providing first aid, reported a correspondent from "Focus" correspondent from the scene.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko was the first to report on the consequences of the enemy attack on the Ukrainian capital. He reported a fire in an area of private residential homes in the Svyatoshinsky District.

The Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed this information. They specified that the fire engulfed private residential homes, though information regarding injuries was still being verified at the time of publication.

In addition, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a fire broke out in a warehouse in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. The Obolon district of Kyiv is also experiencing the aftermath of overnight shelling by Russian forces—a store is on fire there, the administration added.

Shortly thereafter, the City Military Administration clarified that, according to available data, at least one person was injured as a result of the Russian attack. A woman was injured and is currently under medical supervision.
