Special envoys of U.S. President Donald Trump Steven Whitcoff and Jared Kushner may visit Moscow and Kyiv this coming weekend, to continue negotiations on ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.

According to the Russian state news agency TASS, Whitcoff and Kushner plan to arrive in Moscow on Saturday, September 5, and travel to Kyiv on Sunday, September 6. The Kyiv Independent.

However, the trip by the U.S. representatives to Kyiv has not yet been confirmed. Citing its own source, the Kyiv Independent reported that Whitcoff allegedly began to have reservations about the visit due to Russian shelling of the Ukrainian capital.
