Z-propagandist Norin Unexpectedly Called On Putin To Make Peace

The Kremlin will have to end the war, which has reached an impasse.
One of the ideologues behind the aggression against Ukraine, the well-known propagandist Evgeny Norin, unexpectedly made a candid anti-war statement. He effectively called on the Kremlin to wind down the so-called “special military operation,” which has reached an impasse and is destroying Russia. He made this high-profile statement on a Russian propaganda outlet, according to Dialog.UA.
Norin noted that the Russian army’s offensive has been blocked. “There is some progress on the battlefield, but it’s slow… I’m somewhat skeptical of the idea that the enemy will run out of troops tomorrow… Right now, as far as I can tell, their situation has stabilized. The fighting for Slavyansk and Kramatorsk could continue like this for a very long time. I’d rather not say ‘years’ so as not to discourage anyone. But yes—for years,” said the propagandist.
He called for an immediate end to the aggression against Ukraine, since the Russian Federation’s position is deteriorating with each passing day.
“Our economic, social, and political difficulties are mounting and intensifying. The external situation is deteriorating because our partners are watching all of this. For us, the economic situation is deteriorating particularly sharply… The costs of the war are also very heavy for us. If we do not find a way to sign a peace treaty, the war will be frozen indefinitely, with uncertain consequences. And this situation will remain unstable for a very, very long time. But a stalemate is what everything seems to be heading toward… If the war continues as it is now, it will devastate every aspect of life in Russia and Ukraine, and the repercussions will reverberate throughout Europe,” Norin said.
He expressed confidence that Russia would not be able to turn the tide, and that mobilization would only worsen its situation.
“Russia could, in theory, carry out a new wave of mobilization. But does it even have the weapons, equipment, or reserves for this wave to form combat units? Second, there’s no guarantee that this would lead to a decisive turning point. And as for the fact that it will place a massive strain on the economy, social relations, and society—you don’t need a fortune-teller to see that. Perhaps they’ll undertake some extraordinary measures in the fall. But I doubt that this momentum will last long. Yes, there’s a view that we just need to apply a little more pressure, and the enemy will crumble. But we heard that a year ago, and two years ago, too. For three years now, I’ve been hearing that the enemy will collapse in a year… “I’m not sure our country is ready to find out just how deep this rabbit hole goes. The costs of the war are also very heavy for us,” the propagandist noted.
