The Talks Between Putin And Trump's Envoys Lasted Three Hours

The American representatives left the Kremlin.

U.S. President’s Special Envoys Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner have concluded talks with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. The meeting lasted more than three hours.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing several Russian media outlets.

According to the report, Whitecoff and Kushner left the Kremlin grounds after more than 2.5 hours of talks with Putin. In total, the meeting lasted over three hours.

At the start of the talks, the dictator stated that since midnight on September 5, Russia had not carried out any strikes on Kyiv. At the same time, he denied that there were any agreements with Ukraine regarding a broader three-day ceasefire.

According to Putin, the Ukrainian side had called for a three-day ceasefire, but Moscow allegedly had not reached any such agreements with Kyiv.

He also stated that the Russian side “feels comfortable working” with Whitcoff and Kushner. At the same time, the Kremlin leader noted that contacts with U.S. representatives are allegedly beneficial, and that during the meeting he planned to discuss with them “all the modalities” of resolving the war against Ukraine.

Whitcoff, for his part, called his conversation with Putin one of the “best and most memorable” moments of his life.

After the talks concluded, the American representatives left the Kremlin. Whitcoff and Kushner are expected to continue their discussions in Kyiv on September 6.
