Another black folder of the same size was spotted in the possession of Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev.

U.S. President's Special Envoys Steve Whitcroft and Jared Kushner made to a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin a thick black folder that may contain some new proposals for ending the war in Ukraine unleashed by Russia, writes “Dialog.UA”.

This folder was visible during the portion of the meeting open to the media, footage of which is published on the Kremlin’s website. Kushner was also seen carrying a similar folder after the U.S. delegation’s plane landed in Moscow.

Another black folder of a similar size was spotted with Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev, who was also present during the media-open portion of the meeting at the Kremlin.

For his part, a thin red folder was placed on Putin’s table before the meeting began.

The meeting between Whitcoff and Kushner and Putin lasted more than three hours.

Analysts view the U.S. representatives’ visit to Moscow as an attempt to revive the stalled negotiation process aimed at ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Whitcoff and Kushner had previously visited the Russian capital, but those visits did not result in a breakthrough.

This time, the U.S. leader’s envoys will also travel to Kyiv. Their visit to the Ukrainian capital is expected on Sunday, September 6. This will be their first trip to Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the upcoming meeting with the U.S. delegation, stated that the Ukrainian side is ready for a substantive discussion.
