The vessel joined the Iranian fleet at the bottom of the sea.

The U.S. military has sunk yet another Iranian tanker in the Persian Gulf. The vessel in question is the M/T Kylo, which was carrying crude oil.

This was announced by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). They also released a video of the strike.

The U.S. military reported the successful strike on yet another Iranian oil tanker on September 6.

“Thanks to the precision and professionalism of U.S. service members, the M/T Kylo sank today off the coast of Oman in the Persian Gulf and has joined Iran’s fleet at the bottom of the sea,” CENTCOM noted.

They also released a video proving that the phrase “joined the fleet at the bottom of the sea” is not a metaphor—the ship actually sank after being struck.

The day before, the U.S. military reported the sinking of three more Iranian tankers. The strikes were carried out after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) fired ballistic missiles at two U.S. warships.
