The Russian Armed Forces Suffered New Defeats On Several Fronts At Once

The situation on the battlefield is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Over the past few days, Russian occupation forces have been conducting offensive operations; however, the Defense Forces successfully repelled the enemy in various sectors of the front.
This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
On September 4–5, Russian forces continued limited offensive operations in the north of the Sumy region, but there was no confirmed advance. At the same time, according to a source linked to Russia’s Northern Military District, Ukrainian defenders are advancing along the railroad between Taratutino and Ryasne, southeast of Sumy.
In the north of the Kharkiv region and in the Velykyi Burluk area, the occupiers also launched attacks but were unable to achieve success.
According to one Russian source, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are counterattacking and regaining lost positions near Goptivka and Kudievka.
At the same time, Russian military bloggers are claiming, without evidence, that Ukrainian forces have allegedly been surrounded between the Volchansk and Velykyi Burluk sectors.
On the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops continued offensive operations on September 4–5 but did not achieve any confirmed territorial gains.
On September 4–5, the occupiers continued offensive operations in the Sloviansk sector but made no confirmed territorial gains.
In the Donbas, the occupiers conducted limited offensive operations but were unable to advance on September 4–5.
The Ukrainian military also continued to launch medium-range strikes against Russian military targets in the occupied territory of the Donbas.
In the Huliaipole sector on September 4–5, Russian troops continued offensive operations but did not achieve any confirmed advances.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces launched medium-range strikes against Russian logistics in the occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
