He is suspected of violating two criminal statutes.

Ukraine has issued an international arrest warrant for Belarusian citizen Yevgeny Malinkovich, who is suspected of two criminal offenses: violating regulations on the trade of dual-use goods and aiding an aggressor country as part of a group and by prior conspiracy, according to “Radio Svaboda” reports, citing its sources.

The case against the 43-year-old Gomel resident was investigated in absentia, and the court has now ordered his arrest in absentia.

Malinkovich is accused of organizing shipments of optical glass from Ukraine to Russia via Poland. The glass in question was intended for “KOLT” LLC, located in Ryazan—a company that fulfills orders for the Russian defense-industrial complex.

According to the investigation, Ukrainian citizens transported the glass to Poland; several such shipments were recorded, but the total volume has not been specified.

As noted by “Svaboda,” the glass, whose transport was organized by Malinkovich, contains special additives that prevent it from darkening and is used in the production of military and space technology.
