IDF General: Israel's Military Gearing Up For Next Stage Of This War

The timing and details of the operation against Hamas have been announced.

The IDF is “gearing up for the next stage of this war,” its spokesperson Brigadier General Daniel Hagari said in a press conference on Friday.

He also warned that Israel's war with Hamas would “continue for many more weeks”, Sky News reports.

“Israel’s war against Hamas will continue for many weeks to come, we have difficult times ahead,” Hagar said.

When asked about the return of hostages taken by Hamas, he said the IDF was exhausting all options in order to guarantee their safe return.

“The IDF will continue to do all it can to bring back those who are missing,” added the representative of the Israeli army.

According to unnamed sources, an estimated 200 people, including 30 teenagers and young children and 20 people over the age of 60, are being held hostage in Gaza.
