The Armenian Prime Minister put forward an ultimatum.

Armenia will withdraw from the CSTO if the organization does not answer the questions raised by Yerevan regarding the sovereign territory of the country.

This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a press conference, Aysor reports.

"We are now asking, expecting, demanding that our respected CSTO partners answer the question: what is the CSTO area of responsibility in Armenia," Pashinyan said. He stressed that Armenia did not create problems for the organization, they arose after Yerevan raised the issue of the CSTO area of responsibility in the republic, and did not receive the answer.

According to Pashinyan, if the CSTO responds and this corresponds to the views of Yerevan, the issues between Armenia and the organization will be resolved.

"Otherwise, the Republic of Armenia will leave the CSTO. I can't tell when,” he warned.

At the end of February, Pashinyan announced the freezing of Armenia's participation in the CSTO. So he answered the question of whether he was going to withdraw Armenia from the organization in which "Russia dominates". According to the Armenian Prime Minister, the Collective Security Treaty was not implemented in relation to Yerevan, especially in 2021–2022, and the country could not ignore this.
