Russians Attacked Kiev And Kharkiv En Masse

The Russians on the night of January 24 carried out a massive attack on Kiev and Kharkiv, as a result of which it is known about the victims, casualties, fires and numerous destructions. In particular, in Kharkiv, a hostel with displaced people, a hospital and a maternity hospital suffered due to the shelling.
In Kiev, due to the massive combined attack of drones and missiles, the consequences are recorded in four districts. "Focus" gathered information about the first consequences of the night shelling.
Attack on Kiev - the first consequences
According to the head of the Kiev city military administration Timur Tkachenko, the consequences of the shelling were recorded in Darnitsky, Dniprovsky, Goloseevsky and Solomensky districts of the capital:
Goloseevsky district: hit in a non-residential building, on the spot fire. Also recorded damage to windows in a private house;
Solomensky district: hit a six-storey office building;
Dneprovsky district: damage to the territory of garages, on the spot, preliminary, fire;
Darnitsky district: damage to the building of a private medical center, destroyed windows.
Timur Tkachenko also said that at the time of publication in Kiev is known about one dead person. Four more were injured.
City Mayor Vitali Klitschko specified that a gasoline tanker was on fire in the Dniprovsky district of the capital as a result of falling debris.
Subsequently, Klitschko said that heat and water supply disruptions began on Kiev's left bank after the attack.
Other consequences of the attack on the capital are being specified.
Attack on Kharkiv - first consequences
The attack on Kharkiv began around midnight and lasted several hours. The Russians sent attack drones en masse on the city, which caused dozens of explosions.
According to the city mayor Igor Terekhov, two districts of Kharkov - Industrial and Nemyshlanskyi - suffered because of the shelling. The most consequences are recorded in the Industrial district: there the Russians hit several residential buildings. In particular, the hit occurred in a five-storey building, where people were blocked because of it.
In the Nemyshlansky district of the city the owner of the house, where the "Shahed" hit, suffered. Also many neighboring houses were damaged because of the attack, Terekhov noted.
Subsequently, the mayor added that in the Industrial district of Kharkiv, a hostel with displaced people, a hospital and a maternity hospital were damaged because of enemy shelling. According to Terekhov, the number of casualties in the city reached at least 11 people.
Chairman of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Sinegubov also said that the following consequences of the attack were known in the Industrial district:
an apartment in a residential building caught fire;
glazing of windows in an apartment building was damaged;
the roof of another building burst into flames.
Information about the consequences of Russian shelling on the night of January 24 is being clarified. Operational services are working on the ground.
