Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Aptly Puts Iran In Its Place With Words From The Koran

Sibiga responded to Tehran's criticism of Zelensky.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has publicly criticized Vladimir Zelensky after his speech in Davos. The diplomat accused the Ukrainian president of misusing the help of Western taxpayers and violating international law. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga responded to such reproaches with a quote from the Koran, writes OBOZ.UA.
The corresponding message was released by the Iranian diplomat in X (former Twitter). The Iranian statement claims that the Ukrainian president is allegedly "stealing from American and European taxpayers." In addition, according to Araqchi, Zelensky selectively interprets the UN Charter. According to him, on the one hand the Ukrainian president talks about illegal aggression, and on the other hand he openly supports possible US forceful actions against Iran.
"He has long been stealing from American and European taxpayers to fill the pockets of his corrupt generals and to oppose what he calls illegal aggression that violates the UN Charter. At the same time, he openly and unashamedly calls for illegal US aggression against Iran, which also violates the same UN Charter. The world has had enough of confused clowns, Mr. Zelensky. Unlike your foreign-funded army filled with mercenaries, we Iranians know how to defend ourselves and do not need to beg foreigners for help," the diplomat's note reads.
The Ukrainian side's reaction to Iran's statements was not long in coming. Andrei Sibiga, head of the Foreign Ministry, in response to the statements of his Iranian counterpart, Sibiga quoted the Koran and called on Tehran to stop aggression.
"Being offended by the president's words is the same as being offended by a mirror. As Surah Al-Zuhruf (43:78) states: "We have indeed brought you the truth, but most of you were disgusted with the truth." The world is tired of dalgaks (in Persian, court jesters). It is time for Tehran to stop drenching its own people in blood while lining its pockets and fueling numerous wars at the expense of Iranians who want peace and a better life," Sibiga wrote.
