Kiev Subway Damaged In Overnight Russian Federation Attack

Metro trains on the green line are running with changes due to the overnight massive shelling of the capital. The movement of the funicular has been temporarily suspended due to the lack of electricity.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the KSCA and Kyivpastrans.

Now the movement of trains on the green metro line is carried out between the stations "Syrets" - "Vydubichi" and between the stations "Osokorki" - "Krasny Khutor".

On the open section of the green line during the inspection of the territory damage to the fence was found during the night shelling.

The KSCA promises to inform additionally about the resumption of the green line.

On the red and blue lines trains run without changes.

Also Kyivpastrans reports that the funicular movement is temporarily suspended due to the lack of power supply.

The aftermath of the attack on Kiev on the night of January 24

Reminder, tonight Kiev was under a combined attack by the Russians.

At around 1 a.m. on January 24, Kiev declared an air alert due to the threat of drone strikes, after which explosions were almost immediately heard in the city. Subsequently, Russian troops launched ballistic missiles in the direction of the capital.

Subsequently, the mayor of the city Vitali Klitschko spoke about the consequences of the attack:

in Desnyansky district there was a fall of debris on a non-residential building;

in Dniprovsky district as a result of the fall of drone debris there was a fire on the territory of a garage cooperative, also a gasoline truck caught fire in the parking lot. In addition, debris broke windows in an apartment building;

in Darnytskyi district, the wreckage of a drone fell near a private medical facility, damaging windows in the building;

in Goloseevskyi district, the fall of debris on the territory of a non-residential building caused a fire, and at another address, windows in a private house were broken:

in Solomenskyi district, debris damaged a six-story office building.

The left bank of Kiev is experiencing heat and water shortages as a result of a large-scale attack by the Russian Federation.
