The fighter jets came under attack by the SBU.

Satellite images have appeared online, allegedly showing the aftermath of strikes by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on the Khanskaya military airfield in the Republic of Adygea (Russian Federation) on the night of October 4.

Judging by the photos published by the Ukrainian Telegram channels Exilenova+ and AviVector, two Russian fighter jets—a Su-35 and a Su-34—were completely burned.

On October 4, Exilenova+ reported that drones had attacked the Republic of Adygea (Russian Federation) and that the Khanskaya airfield may have been the target. Local residents reported that the attack lasted all night.

Subsequently, the SBU confirmed the attack, which resulted in the destruction of the Su-35, Su-34, and an ammunition depot.

“Both aircraft carry guided aerial bombs (GABs), which the enemy is using extensively on the front lines and against Ukrainian cities,” the SBU emphasized.
