Spanish F-18 fighter jets on combat duty in Romania took to the air early Monday morning after detecting an aerial target near the border with Ukraine.

This was reported by the Romanian Ministry of Defense.

On the night of October 4–5, the Ministry of Defense’s radar surveillance system detected an aerial target moving east of Vilkovo (Odesa Oblast), near the border with Romania.
