Ilon Musk Is Preparing To Launch X Money Financial Service

The former Twitter is promised to be turned into a super app.

Ilon Musk is set to open early access to X Money, a new financial service within the X platform, in the coming days. It's one of the key steps in an effort to turn the former Twitter into a super-app where you can not only read posts, but also store money, pay, transfer funds to other users and use banking services, writes Bloomberg.

In March, Musk himself said that the service planned to open to the first users as early as April.

X Money is supposed to combine an account, payment app and financial tools right inside the social network. Among the features early users are testing are person-to-person transfers, a Visa debit card, cashback of up to 3% and a yield on balances of about 6%.

Mask, as the agency notes, wants to make X a service through which users can "conduct their entire lives."
