NABU announced the existence of a "criminal organization."

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) have launched a special operation to expose a criminal organization which, according to the investigation, was led by a current and a former member of parliament, with the participation of high-ranking officials from the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to a statement by NABU, the criminal group included members of parliament, senior officials from the Office of the President of Ukraine, and a number of other officials.

According to sources cited by the publication “Ukrainska Pravda”, investigative actions and searches are taking place at the residence of People’s Deputy Vadym Stolar (elected from the now-banned “Opposition Platform—For Life” party) and the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Iryna Mudra, are currently underway.

At this time, NABU and the SAPO have not officially disclosed the full list of names of all those involved or other details of the special operation.
