Trump Has Launched The "most Devastating Economic Operation" Against Iran

The U.S. president warned that any country that assists Tehran will also be targeted.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he is launching “the most devastating economic operation” against Iran in history. According to him, any country whose financial institutions or companies assist Tehran in circumventing the pressure will also face severe economic consequences.

This was reported by Charter97.org citing a statement by Donald Trump on the social media platform Truth Social.

What Trump Said

The U.S. president stated that no one had given Iran more opportunities to reach an agreement than he had, but Tehran “tragically” failed to take advantage of this opportunity. In response, Trump announced the launch of an “economic war and isolation on an unprecedented scale” against Iran.

According to him, the Iranian navy has been destroyed, its air force has been decimated, its military factories have been reduced to rubble, and the country’s currency has depreciated—the regime, the president said, “is hanging by a thread.”

Threats to Other Countries

Separately, Trump warned that any country that allows its financial institutions, businesses, airports, or government agencies to provide any support to Iran will also face “enormous economic consequences.”

The president explicitly listed the methods that, in his words, must cease immediately—oil smuggling, currency swaps, cash transfers, money changers, the registration of ships under foreign flags, and shell companies.

“You know who you are,” he said, addressing the countries involved.

Trump called this initiative “an economic D-Day” and urged U.S. allies to join in isolating and defeating Iran, calling the Iranian regime “maniacs who are already on a tightrope.” The president also reiterated that Iran will never obtain nuclear weapons.
