The agreement was signed at a defense exhibition in Denmark.

The Finnish company Innokas plans to establish production in Finland of drones based on Ukrainian designs, which will be supplied to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Airlogix, according to YLE.

The companies have agreed to establish production facilities in Finland to manufacture unmanned systems developed by Airlogix. The Ukrainian company’s technological expertise will also be utilized in organizing production.

Airlogix drones have already been used during the war in Ukraine.

The agreement was concluded as part of the “Build with Ukraine” initiative, which aims to expand defense production capacity in European countries to facilitate further deliveries of weapons and equipment to Ukraine.

“We view this partnership first and foremost as a practical contribution to supporting Ukraine. Our goal is to help expand the production of unmanned aerial systems in Finland and increase the volume of equipment supplied to Ukraine,” said Innokas CEO Janne Kostamo.

Representatives from Innokas and Airlogix signed a memorandum of understanding this week during a defense industry exhibition in Denmark.

Thus, the production of Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems is planned to be expanded beyond Ukraine’s borders using Finnish manufacturing facilities and Ukrainian technology.
