She also refuted the U.S. president's claim that Kim Jong Un had responded to his message.
The DPRK is not interested in the recent moves by U.S. President Donald Trump, who scaled back joint military exercises with South Korea. According to The New York Times, an influential adviser and sister of North Korean dictator Kim Yo-jong stated this.
According to her, the scaled-back exercises are still “provocative and aggressive.”
“If the U.S. expects its recent measures to be perceived as a gesture of goodwill, it will not receive the desired response. This is of no interest to us,” said Kim Yo-jong, speaking as a representative of her brother’s government.
She also refuted Trump’s claim that Kim Jong Un had responded to his message, stating that she was “unaware” of any contact between Pyongyang and Washington.
