Local authorities stated that they are repelling a drone attack in the region. Meanwhile, Russians are screaming amid the attack and explosions and complaining that it is impossible to sleep.
It is reported that an attack took place on the “LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez” oil refinery (PNOS), one of the largest facilities of its kind in the Russian Federation. Reports on the consequences of the incident are being clarified.
LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez LLC (PNOS) is one of the largest and most technologically advanced oil refineries in the Russian Federation. The facility is located in the city of Perm (Perm Krai) and is owned by the oil company Lukoil.
As a reminder, on the morning of August 20, a series of explosions occurred in Tatarstan, Russia at the Taneco oil refinery located in Nizhnekamsk.
