The Ukrainian Armed Forces Attacked A Military Airfield In Anapa

Two Russian fighter jets—a Su-33 and a MiG-29—have been hit.
On August 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces damaged Su-33 and MiG-29 fighter jets, as well as an “Orion” unmanned aerial vehicle, at the Vityazevo airfield in Anapa, Krasnodar Krai, in the aggressor country of Russia. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The press service noted that over the past day and during the night of August 24, 2026, units of the defense forces carried out strikes against a number of Russian military facilities.
In particular, Russian military supply depots were damaged in Stepne and Khrustalne in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, as well as in the Viktorivka area in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region. The “ST-68” radar station in Rozdolne, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, was also struck.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that operations against key enemy military targets are continuing.
